Dylan's story of transformation began in 2004 when he was diagnosed with ADHD, depression and anxiety, then prescribed 7 different psychiatric medications a day to fix a supposed chemical imbalance. He immediately tossed all the pills in the trash and made a firm commitment to become the master of his mind, his health, and his happiness.

Two weeks later he began practicing Kung Fu, and experienced a radical transformation, leading him down the path of Qi Gong, Tai Chi and the internal martial arts.

In 2011 he was drawn to experience the Amazonian plant medicine ayahuasca, beginning his 10 plus year study of shamanism and the healing power of plant medicines.

As an iboga provider in training and facilitator of traditional Secoya yagé ceremonies, he has sat with hundreds of people seeking healing, clarity, and peace of mind, assisting them in their transformational journeys.

Dylan is the editor and founder of Waking Times, and has written over one thousand articles on a broad range of topics related to personal, communal, and global transformation.

Today his work is centered on his personal coaching practice which focuses on assisting others understand and overcome self-sabotage, achieve emotional self-mastery, raise their consciousness, let go of negative emotions, and integrate the powerful lessons of plant medicines into their daily lives.
